Ministering To The Next Generation
Our mission is to make disciples, regardless of age. We believe that providing Bible study, worship, fellowship, and activities appropriate to each age group reflects the heart of God towards this next generation.
Our Children’s Ministry is designed to minister to children from infancy to Fifth Grade in a safe and friendly environment. Our ministry is not only to the children, but also to the parents who attend service. We ask parents not to bring their children into the main service, but instead, allow us to minister to them in a way they can enjoy and understand, which will also provide you, and to those around you, a distraction free environment during the service.
We strive to provide a fun, engaging and safe Christ-centered learning environment. Our program is designed for children of all ages to facilitate their spiritual growth and cultivate their relationship with the Lord.
Our weekly lessons are Biblically based and presented in a creative, meaningful way
intended to help children apply it to their daily lives. Additionally we challenge kids withweekly Bible verse memorization and even offer incentives to children who participate.
Our goal is to give them a lasting thirst for God and His Word at a young age.
Also to provide a fun environment for children of all ages to learn, grow and develop friendships.
We strive to be positive role models after whom they can model their own lives.

To Live A Godly Life
The LORD Himself put so much emphasis on children, it is no wonder that they flocked to Him. In fact, Jesus likened the admission to the Kingdom of Heaven to faith of who, a child, of course. This is because children have an uncanny way of seeing the truth. With the faith of a child we too can see the Truth, Jesus for all of eternity. We look forward to serving and growing with the children in our church family and have Christ-centered, age appropriate, fellowship for our younger members.
THE WORD OF GOD
The Bible instructs us to train up our children according to their personalities and we definitely have some personalities in our children's church. This instruction comes with the promise that when they grow up, they will not depart from that which they have learned. Here at HBCAZ we focus on the Word of God and instilling the tenants of our faith into our young members to build up strong foundations in the WORD.
FELLOWSHIP
Children grow and thrive through fellowship just as adults do. For children it is called "playing" and a large part of social development comes through playing. We provide our children with Christ-centered opportunities to fellowship and play, while immersing them in the WORD of God regularly.
UNDERSTANDING
Children have a peculiar understanding of life and the things of this world. They are eager to learn and put the pieces together for themselves. At HBCAZ we provide the tools, insights, and instructions to broaden the understanding of biblical truth amongst our children at HBCAZ.
GROWTH
These are, after all, the growing years for children. Here at HBCAZ we raise up godly young men and women starting with the members of our children's church. We provide an enriching atmosphere where students can grow in their faith, their understanding, and their knowledge of living out godly lives.
WORSHIP
When we hear children singing it plucks at our heart strings. Imagine how God, who loves them infinitely more, feels when He hears children singing in worship to His majesty. We foster and encourage corporate worship amongst our children.
PRAYER
The petitions of children have an amazing way of reaching the ears of a tender Savior. We desire that the children of HBCAZ will learn that the LORD is just a call away. Prayer is howe communicate with the God of the Universe and we encourage our children to speak to Him as often as they desire.
